Casino Royale, author Ian Fleming's first James Bond book, is to be the next Bond film, with Goldeneye director Martin Campbell behind the camera.

It will be the 21st James Bond film to hit the big screen, and speculation has been rife over who will play the lead. Casino Royale was turned into a spoof spy movie by John Huston in 1967, with David Niven in the lead role.

Casino has been announced the winning bidder for the McDonald’s “Lincoln Fry,” a commercial prop that the fast food giant put out to bid on Yahoo! Auctions with the aim of benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities®.

The Lincoln Fry is made out of polyurethane, and is not edible. It is about four inches long and displays a partial bust of President Abraham Lincoln on one end. It was created for use in McDonald’s “Lincoln Fry” television and Internet advertisements, particularly for the advertisement that appeared on TV during the Super Bowl.

Build Casino In Lorain

The Eastern Shawnee tribe and the city of Lorain have announced plans for a resort and casino.

The gaming center would be built on 28 acres that was part of the former Lorain Pellet Terminal on the Lake Erie shoreline.

"The city of Lorain needs innovative developments that attract people, dollars and excitement. This plan does exactly that," Mayor Craig Foltin said.

Men’s Mag FHM and The World Poker Exchange have signed a deal designed to promote poker as an essential man’s skill. The deal culminates in a TV special to be aired on Bravo and Ftn.

The campaign starts in February with a series of advertorials in FHM magazine, complemented by a microsite on FHM’s website where users can download videos outlining poker techniques.

Las Vegas casino the Venetian welcomed news that a new private gaming salon could be opened on its site, after the State Gaming Control Board of Nevada announced the go-ahead yesterday.

The casino’s proposals were praised by the committee, who were impressed by an “aggressive, effective approach”, before voting unanimously to allow the suite. Private salons have attracted controversy because they allow gambling behind closed doors, but are deemed necessary to retain high money players.
