A man, who wishes to be known as Mike, won more than £200,000 in the Super Stud Poker at The Grosvenor Casino in Yarmouth. He’s 39 years old and has been a casino regular for about 15 years.

Mike usually goes to the casino with three of his friends and says that they have a verbal agreement that if any of them won anything, they would share the profits. He intends to fulfill the agreement and split the £208,811.64 with his mates.

The lucky winner, who is the manager of a health club, said: “I had no intention of winning, I just saw it as a boys' night out so I was very shocked when people were suddenly yelling and applauding me.”

When asked how he is going to spend the money, Mike said that he honestly doesn’t know yet but that probably most of the money would go towards paying mortgages.
